ABOUT THE ARTIST
 Chris Anderson is an emerging, interdisciplinary artist and designer who works between graphic design, painting, media 
and installation art. For 3 years he completed a Bachelor of Creative 
Arts as a Dean’s Scholar, with a double major in Graphic Design and 
Media Arts. In 2011 he graduated with 1st Class Honours by writing and 
articulating a 15,000 word thesis and establishing 1000 Surfboard Graveyard art project. Chris currently 
works as a tutor of Media Arts at the University Of Wollongong, and is the designer of Ecto Handplanes, a bodysurfing 
device handcrafted by recycling surfboards from 1000SG.
